Oh yes, it’s that time of year again when eggs are the talk of the town in anything you do, like finding the Easter eggs hidden behind anything in a quest or playing games centred around the theme based on one and only egg. The unique religious festival that spreads smiles around kids and teens to their parents and, like Christmas, brings the joy of family getting back together, comes on the first Sunday after Good Friday. People, especially parents nowadays, try more kinds of games to make their adolescents and teens happy around this festival and surprise you if you’re one of them who is looking for interesting Easter weekend activities for teens as well as for the family.
To begin, why not start with our favourite activity as kids that provides a lot of excitement, which is obviously the classic Easter egg hunt! This game is made for everyone, no matter what their age is, so let’s collect some duplicate eggs and try to hide the clues in them, which is narrated by the parents. Parents should guide their teens for the initial clue, and from then on, kids are on their own. Keep in mind that the time limit adds another dose of fun to it. Every Easter egg has a riddle inside it, and that riddle is the clue for the next Easter egg and eventually the big surprise reward at the end of the game. If there are more teens, one should make teams, and if there are fewer, then individual gaming is great. Of course, stealing is allowed in this game, so tell your children to be aware all the time because, in the end, the team with the most eggs will be honoured with rewards. Now, this game can be played with two methods: by putting puzzles in the eggs in the form of clues, which in the end hands your kids the prize, or by collecting more eggs than the other team deserves the lucky prize.
The second part of the sequence of interesting games to be played by teens on Easter day would be painting the boiled eggs. Of course, it seems simple, but buddy, it is not as simple as you think. The surprise factor in the game is that every team is given an equal number of raw eggs and the theme will be chosen by selecting a cheat from the bowl. Your parents are the judges, or if the whole family is playing, then grandma and grandpa as judges would be fun. Scores would be given according to the damage of raw eggs, damaged boiled eggs, theme fulfilment, and presentation. The most point-holder team would be the winner of this creative Easter game.
Another one in this area is Easter egg bowling, an interesting game in which egg whites are the target and hard-boiled eggs with various decorations would be the bowls.
But unlike real bowling, here the concept is slightly different. Instead of knocking down the pins, players should roll the hard-boiled eggs and try to get to the nearest piece of egg white, which works here as a pin. However, the scores are not only counted by bowling but also how the decoration of hard-boiled eggs is carried out, which would be a factor of consideration as well.
Moreover, we are not forgetting charades since it’s the harmonious game at every festival that has the most participation from family members. named "Easter Egg Charades," starting with filling every plastic egg with papers containing fun easter activities in London that can be carried out by members.
Then, have every individual take a turn getting an egg, at that point, carrying on what is on the paper inside. Give every individual one moment, then, at that point, the individual who surmises gets to take the egg from the individual carrying the cheat, or, on the other hand, assuming no one guesses the act, the entertainer keeps their egg. Toward the end of the game, the individual with the most eggs is the champ and gets an award.
Capture the egg, yes, not the flag, but the egg would be an amazing twist in the game. There are two teams having four eggs each coloured with two colours, like one team’s eggs are yellow and the other's are blue. Now line them up and one by one, face-off happens, and whichever team captures or wins the opposite team’s eggs first would be the winner of the game. To make it more exciting, mix one or two raw eggs in between them.
Another popular game with an egg twist is the egg on a spoon race, where competitors are sometimes given raw eggs instead of boiled eggs to increase the fun. Another interesting turn would be making it a duo game in which one person holding an egg on a spoon is getting their eyes covered while the other person is guiding them to the finish line. Isn’t that a fantastic game?
Lastly, everyone’s personal favourite is Guess or smack, which most of them wish to look at from the outside rather than participating in it. This is the simplest game ever, but the funny thing about it is that people are given two eggs, one of which is raw and the other has a reward in it. If a person chooses the raw eggs, then that one would be smacked with that raw egg on the head while prize choosers are given prizes of their desire, but there should be a limit though.
All in all, these are some interesting Easter activities that not only kids but teens and family members can play on the holy day of Easter and make their get-togethers worthwhile with memories of joy and happiness to cherish in the future.
