Ideation and Composition for the Artist

What is it that the artist is attempting to convey to the viewer through their work? This question
always comes to my mind when I am viewing work from a particular artistic genre.
I know there is a process, unique to each artist that leads to the formulation of the mental image
well before they lay down their first brush stroke. I believe this ideation process is the most vital
part of ones creative journey and which is worth exploring and discussing. It is my aim to explore
the idea, its context, the medium and finally composition for the intended artist expression.
