Learn to Draw what you See

The first step is to learn how to accurately draw what you see and from there a whole of opportunity can flourish. I will take you through the basics of drawing from Lines and measurement using the sighting method. You will understand the power of observation and simplification. Then we will move on to contours and forming shapes. You will understand how to make use of a schema and how to further break down complicated subject matter into easily understood shapes. Eventually we will work on Illusion of depth—perspective and geometric solids. You will understand how to make things look "real." Next is Value and Modelling. You will learn how to shade as well as how to give drawings a focal point. Lastly, Light and shadow. You should be able to put what you've learned together and really focus on how to make drawings better using light and shadow. They will understand the classical order of light and the anatomy of a shadow.
