This is a drawing course allows students to learn through observation and imagination. Students are allowed the privilege to be a part of the instructional options, whereas they may choose to focus on a particular topic or form of drawing. Instructional options may include human and animal portraits, perspective drawing, still-life drawing, cartooning and other illustrations. Three learning levels are accommodated: Beginner, Intermediate, and Advance. The course of study has a length spanning up to 10 classes. All students are required to provide their own materials.
Beginner Level (Drawing 1): Students at this level may have little or no formal training in drawing and may want to learn how to draw. Students are expected to have a drawing /sketchbook, a notebook, basic drawing tools and materials such as B pencils, colouring pencils, pen, pastels, ruler, and eraser.
Intermediate Level (Drawing 2): Students may have prior formal training but seek to develop their skill in drawing or a particular area of the drawing. Students are expected to have a drawing book, several kinds of drawing papers, and basic drawing tools and materials.
Advance Level (Drawing 3): Students who are at the professional or college level may be seeking psychological motivation or constructive guidance with their art project or portfolio development, may take this course. Students at this level may decide that less than 10 classes will meet their goal and are given the privilege to choose fewer classes.
Open Session: Invites students across the level to share the work and ideas with each other
