Potters wheel throwing for beginners Dimbleby Ceramics Trentham Stoke-on-Trent

The day will cover the following elements:
- Clay preparation
- Centring the clay
- Throwing cylinders with the aim of producing forms of even thickness.
- Developing basic forms
- Wiring pots off the wheel

We are based near the historic Trentham Gardens which is one of Staffordshire's top tourist attractions.

If you require accommodation, there is a Premier Inn plus a Travelodge, both within walking distance to our studio. The Upper House in Barlaston is a 4 hotel situated in beautiful countryside which is a 5 minute drive away. We have negotiated a special rate for the Upper House for anyone attending the course.
