Online Course description
The Fine Art & Mixed Media course is an introduction into discovering new perspectives within your chosen area of art, explore new ideas and debate within an expanded field of learning, you are encouraged and driven here to gain life-long skills and knowledge that will develop over time as you practice and attend workshops on a frequent basis. You will benefit from your practical development which is accompanied by guidance, discussions on your progression, and theoretical/ critical thinking as well as visualisation. With over 10 years of experience creating different types of art, I have learnt how to expand my knowledge and skills, as well as mental health with art. I confidently seek out new ways to push boundaries in the art we create as individuals or groups of people, I have published some of my art online, and one thing I enjoy sharing with the world is using our creativity and voice to action what we want the world to know. In my last year of completing my Fine Art Degree, I was selected by The Howard de Walden Estate to receive a £8000 bursary for helping others during my personal time of struggle, I was selected based off of my written statement on how I have helped other people whilst struggling myself. I was awarded the £8000 and I now have one oil painting of mine sitting in Marylebone in the offices of The Howard de Walden Estate. It is a reminder to me that I can achieve anything when I truly express myself and my art.
I also help with mental blocks and creative writing if you are experiencing a mental block. My teaching methods will push you to independently create a body of work characterised by personal commitment and an increasing sense of autonomy. I believe in guiding and letting the range of mediums you work with to help you gain clarity on your personal art journey.
