By reading and writing, these learners learn best (e.g. through books, magazines, and websites).

4. Kinesthetic (Physical) Learning Style 

The kinesthetic method of learning is ideally tailored to persons who want to get "hands-on."

They are learners who, by moving and doing, learn best (e.g. starting to learn to drive by getting behind the wheel).

The Three Stages of Learning 

We have been learning new things every day since the moment we were kids. And we've used at least one of the three levels of learning to acquire information and expertise without actively knowing about it. The 3 learning steps are:

Stage 1: Cognitive Learning 

This learning style allows pupils, by completely investing in the learning process, to use their brains more efficiently. For instance, to explain and teach them what they need to do, a student learning to dance would need continual encouragement from their tutor.

Stage 2: Associative Learning 

This learning pattern occurs, when two unrelated elements (e.g. thoughts, attitudes, sights, and sounds) interact in our minds through a behavioral mechanism known as conditioning. The student dancer has now started to understand the skills they require and their success is starting to see more consistency.

Stage 3: Autonomous Learning 

Without the need for teachers and mentors, this method of learning encourages learners to acquire information through individual efforts and to cultivate an opportunity to ask and measure.

Continuing with the previous example, the student has now become a proficient dancer, and with clarity and accuracy, they can execute skills. They can also focus on difficult tasks and have the flexibility to change their output when appropriate.

Feedback Loop

A Feedback Loop is made up of three stages :

1. Practice/Apply - This is the stage where you bring into motion what you want to read.
2. Measure - This is the process in which the output data is collected. This is often the stage normally missed or ineffectively done by learners.
3. Learn - This is the step in which you assess how well you have done and make improvements to strengthen and practice/apply again
