    How to become a Leisure Tutor?

    1 - Sign-up

    If you have your creative workshop and you run online or in-person courses and classes, signup as a leisure tutor with myhobbycourses. You can teach any course or class as a leisure tutor.

    2 - Qualifications

    When it comes to teaching arts and crafts workshops, there are no mandatory qualifications required. However, it would be beneficial to have some prior experience or understanding of teaching methods and how individuals perceive and learn (of course, different individuals perceive and learn in different ways).

    3 - Complete your Profile and Verification

    Once signed up as a leisure tutor, it is imperative to complete your profile (personal info) and carry out certain verifications like email, mobile, address, social media, DBS, credit card, and references.

    4 - Publish Your First Course

    As an online leisure tutor, you can publish only Online courses. As an In-person leisure tutor, you can publish both Online and In-person Courses. Currently, in-person courses are allowed to publish by UK nationals only.
    To publish courses, add an attractive and self-descriptive course title, descriptions, requirements, and course schedules. Hit "publish" to publish the course once you have added all the required information.

    5 - Share with others

    Lastly, tell your friends, family, and followers to check out your course!

    Every time a student enrols in your course, you will be compensated. Additionally, creating courses is easy with our user-friendly platform. Tutor registration or publishing courses is a free process. We don't charge any commission from Tutors. They get 100% of their earnings. We charge only a 10% commission to students on top of the course prices set by tutors.

    How to get paid for courses?

    You will be paid for each course after 15 days. To get paid successfully, it is imperative to mark the attendance for the course conducted. Once you mark the attendance, you’ll be paid for that course within 15 days via PayPal or Bank Transfer. For more information, check out our PAYBACK CYCLE.

    Why am I not getting any pin code for mobile verification?

    Users can get SMS for pin code 3 times in 24 hours. If you haven’t got any code for the first attempt, make sure you have entered a valid UK number that contains 10 or 11 digits without country code. Cross-check your number it might possible that you’ve entered any wrong digit. In the worst case, you can contact us via LIVE Chat or by sending us an email at [email protected]

    I completed the profile and verifications what to do next?

    What are My Tutors and My Venues? Why do I need to add them before publishing courses?

    Before publishing an in-person or online course, you need to add My Tutors and My Venues. In My Tutors, you can add yourself or any other colleague working with you on your workshop. In My venues, you need to add your workshop address. You can also list your workshop in My venues and you can select that venue for your in-person course. 

    What is meant by “Places Available” in Publishing Course Form?

    That means how many students can buy your session. Let's say you select 10 so only 10 students will be able to buy your session after reaching that particular limit the course will be closed.

    What is meant by “Sessions to attend” in Publishing Course Form?

    It means how many classes or hourly sessions they have to attend. For example, a course pertains to 10 classes or sessions of 1 hour on different days, so you will decide that and set the schedule for that accordingly.

    What is meant by “Class/batch strength” in Publishing Course Form?

    It means how many students are allowed to attend your class. Once a particular limit is reached, your course will be closed to accept the bookings. However, you can update the course dates and schedules later at any time.

    What is a “Class Schedule” in Publishing Course Form?

    Once students decide to get registered for a particular course, it’s really important to get time slots that are in line with their availability to attend the classes. Hence, it is a prerequisite to provide a thorough class schedule. You can add a schedule (time and name) for the class by clicking on the desired dates.
